Diamond Grading

One of the first things people learn about diamonds is that not all diamonds are created equal, each and every diamond is unique. Diamonds come in many shapes, sizes colours and various internal characteristics. All polished diamonds are valuable and that value is based on a combination of factors.

We follow a systematic way to determine these factors, established by the GIA in the 1950’s which established the four factors to describe and classify diamonds. This includes the “ Four C’s of diamond grading. Clarity, Cut, Colour and Carat Weight.
